The ASSA AGM is being held on 26th February 2012. You must have been a financial member as at 31st October 2011 in order to nominate for council and/or vote.

Please note that nominations must be received by 27th January 2012 and seconders must also be ASSA members as at 31st October 2011. The AGM will be held via skype (similar to previous years) and your State Rep will organise venues if you would like to get together with other ASSA members. The 2011 National Championships was hosted by WASSA on the 9th and 10th July in Chidlow, Western Australia.

After feedback on last's year pointscore, the model for this year has been changed.

All ASSA and non-ASSA major races will be included in the pointscore (Minor club only races excluded).

Results will be calculated on a race, breed, speed, state, class, age, distance criteria.

The only qualification criteria is that a musher must race outside of their state and be a member of ASSA.
